80% of strokes are preventable and yet they are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Our task was to literally do anything to make people aware of the signs of stroke. So we made a cartoon, had the Fordham cheerleaders cheer about the symptoms of stroke, and we even enlisted the help of a late night psychic.
The campaign was comprised of several TV spots, corresponding microsites, Interactive Stroke Interventions and a TV channel. The response was huge with over 20,000 requests for information in the first month. I took the lead on The Symptoms TV Spot, the campaign site, and the Symptoms website working with the talented illustrators and animators at Laika.
